Haverford Township Day, the much-anticipated annual event, returns on October 5, 2024, for its 29th year. This community celebration will feature a variety of activities, including a parade, live music, entertainment, a craft fair, and a flea market. The day is set to offer something for everyone, making it a highlight of the fall season in Havertown, Pensilvania, EE.UU..

Aspectos destacados del evento:

  • 5K Race: The day kicks off early with a 5K race at 8:30 AM starting at Escuela secundaria Haverford. This race is a popular event for local runners, and road closures will be in effect during this time on Mill Road and Karakung Drive.
  • Parade: At 10:30 AM, the parade begins at Manoa Shopping Center, making its way down Eagle Road to Darby Road. This parade will feature local organizations, schools, and businesses, offering a vibrant display of community spirit.
  • Craft Fair & Flea Market: Running from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the craft fair and flea market on Darby Road will feature a wide array of vendors selling handmade goods, antiques, and other unique items.

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy delicious food from local vendors and live entertainment at various locations along Darby Road. The entire stretch between Mill Road and Manoa Road will be closed to vehicular traffic, creating a pedestrian-friendly zone for the festivities.
